If there are no Jokers or wild cards, the highest hand is a straight flush. A straight flush is any 5 consecutive cards of the same suite.

Three cards of the same rank are called 3 of a kind when held with two other unpaired cards. AAA is the highest hand in this case.

Two pair of different ranks represents the next winning hand. In the case of a tie, the highest pairs win. AAKK would beat KK99.

One pair, which is two cards of the same rank, is the next in line. Again, the highest pair is the winner.
